It was a great Sunday and,
thus, we went for a day date at San Pedro town. It's near
Long Beach and it's at LA Harbour Port. It's about 30-40mins
drive from home. They had recently built this singing water
fountain that's similar to the one in Las Vegas (Belagio
Hotel) fountain.
They kept on playing the fountain for the whole day, with 2hours rest in between. So we managed to catch the 12-1pm show with 2mins rest in between songs. There was strong wind at that time. So when the fountain shot waters up in the air, the wind blew the water down and towards to audience. We, of coz, got wet, luckily not drench wet. Just drizzling wet, but we constantly got shot by the water for the next 30mins.
It's fun thou considering it was a hot day that day :p. Many kids were playing with the water, the fountain, shrieking in joy. Some women used umbrella to shield themselves from those waters. As for me, I hide behind Steve's only. Poor my baby :p
After that fountain, we went to the Fisherman Wharf thinking
wanna get some lunch in there. It's basically a fish market,
but much cleaner version and you get to eat in there. Upon
seeing all the prices, we decided to wait patiently and
just have a festive when we are back in Indo. Way cheaper
in Indo than in LA.
So we drove around the neighbourhood and found this Mexican restaurant. We jst went in there and had a very filling lunch (Enchilano & Tamale) and it only cost us $8.90 for 2 meals. How cheap! While the one at Fish Market, we have to pay $15.99 just for 5 pieces of Prawn. nuts!
We later drove to this Korean Bell hill around that area. It's a friendship bell given by Korean to the USA, for friendship stuff. The view from that hill is spectacular. I love every part of it. The wind was so strong up on that hill, hence many ppl were playing kites at there. Steve said "even if you don't know how to play kite, with this wind, your kite will definitely be up there in the air".
I love that hill, it's windy, sunny, not hot, fab view, quiet and just plain serene.
This time round, we brought along tripod to take pictures. So we managed to take few pic of us together, instead of just one person each time.
Thanks Honey for bringing me there, really enjoyed it :)
