How's your week? I had one of the most fun and interesting week (thought not the whole day). I've finally started my freelance translation/editing job, which is tough coz it's all in Engineering subject, which is so out out my league.
Then Steve brought me out for a Movie in a Park (a DATE
actually ^^), which I've always wanted to try it out (thanks
to all these romantic movie that I've been watching). The
date at the park is fun. I get to experience it, many locals
gathered around, they all just lie down on the grass, some
brought their own beach chairs, kids running around, climbing
trees, playing games, etc. This movie in the park was organized
by the City for the people, hence there were free drink
booth and games.
We brought our own extremely stiff metal-kitchen chair (foldable) to seat on it and got sore butt after the movie, and yeah..ate In & Out Burger as our dinner. So unhealthy! But I reallllly enjoy this date. Let's do it again :).
The rest of my day spent on the translation/editing thing. I started my week with editing 20K words, which I spent 2 full days to finish it up. Then I received a sudden urgent project again (since the original team gone MIA) and I've to waste my entire weekend for it. Poor my honey since he has to accompany me.
Good thing we managed to steal half of our Saturday for some fun day. We went to Vihara for praying service, then had lunch with Tibetan Monk at West Hollywood at some fancy over-priced chinese restaurant. Met this caucasian guy who claimed he's a movie producer of this old movie, starred by Kim Bassinger back in 1991.
Then we went for a short walk at this mall called THE GROVE
just around the corner. That's fun too. The design of the
open-air-concept mall is great. If I have all the money
in the world, I'll be so crazy shopping there. Many patrons
bring their dogs along. There is a particular dog that wear
dog's shoes and dog's backpack. How cutteeee!
We also went to the FARMERS MARKET. That's where I finally know what USA's market like. It's clean and not wet. Many foods as well. Too bad I already had my lunch before that. Of coz we bought the coffee and ice cream. I bought my coffee from this Coffee & Doughnut store instead of the other more delicious coffee shop, just coz this shop's design is cute! You can check it out at my picture gallery.
