In my last blog, I mentioned that our garden was visited by wild rabbit and squirrels almost on every day basis.
Ever since then, we've been putting apples, carrots, peach and even lettuce on the garden to lure the rabbit coming to our house, be gentle to us, let it know we meant no harm, etc.
When we put the apple in the morning at the garden, it was
eaten half-piece by the evening. We were so excited (mostly
me though) coz the rabbit is eating it. Then the following
day, we put lettuce leaf, it was gone too.
We then put 2 peaches and in less than 1 hour, one of the peach was gone. However, after that, we noticed there's squirrel running around our garden instead of rabbit. It has 2-3 children along with it too.
So I walked towards where they hide and there I saw one of the baby came out and posing for me, more like challenging me. It's so brave. Later on, the bro/sis came out too and walked even nearer towards me. But the minute I moved, they both ran away faster than a speed car.
This means...all this while we thought we've finally managed lure the rabbit eating our foods, it was the squirrel all along that eating it. I think the rabbit just happily chewing the green grass.
